BY INVITATION ONLY · WASHINGTON, D.C.
Always Off the Record
A private membership for PAC professionals.
You’ve spent your career building support for others.
Now, a standing table of trusted peers built to support you.
WHY IT EXISTS
You support your VP.
You support your lobbyists.
You support your PAC donors.
You hold everything together.
But who supports you?
Executive Session.
Take your seat at a private table of 8-12 PAC professionals where everything discussed is always off the record. Real relationships with the people who truly understand this job from the inside, and the candor that only comes from relying on the same trusted group, session after session.
Bring your challenges and hear from those who’ve already solved that piece of the puzzle. Connect and collaborate with a group invested in success: yours and theirs. No vendors, no one trying to sell you anything—just a closed-door session where you can share what’s working and what isn’t, and return to your office with real solutions.
Gatherings take place in Washington and are scheduled around the congressional calendar.
I
The same peers for the full two-year session. Consistency is the point; it is where trust is built.
II
What is said at the table stays at the table. Candor is the whole value.
III
Every session should feel like a retreat from a busy week. Unwind over good food with good friends.
IV
No posturing, no programming for its own sake. The value is the people in the room.
WHO IT IS FOR
Executive Session is for corporate and association PAC professionals.
Members are seated with peers at a similar stage:
• Breakfast sessions for those building their careers
• Lunch sessions for seasoned leaders
Membership is by invitation and seats are intentionally limited.
YOUR HOST
After 15+ years running both corporate and association PACs, Joanna knew the PAC role is often a team of one, and she knew exactly what was missing: a standing table of trusted peers. So she built one.
At Abbott, she led the company’s PAC, growing it from $400k to $2MM+ per cycle and into one of the top 50 corporate PACs in the country, outpacing companies far larger. Her results twice earned her the Abbott President’s Award. Her favorite part of the job was hosting Speaker Series events for PAC members, including her last, with Matthew McConaughey… alright, alright, alright.
Along the way, at the American Osteopathic Association, the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and Michael E. Dunn & Associates (now Dunn & Associates), Joanna learned the most successful fundraising is built on trust, peer to peer. She later shared that approach as a featured speaker at the Public Affairs Council PAC conference.
When Joanna paused her political career to raise her four children, she sold cookies at the weekly farmers market. Today she brings the spirit of Will Guidara’s Unreasonable Hospitality to every Executive Session, and if you’re lucky, she may bake some cookies for you.
